World We Want Social Action Projects

Teams of young people receive micro-grants to generate and conduct Social Action Projects with support from mentors from partner organizations and an online funding platform to raise additional funds.

A project team is composed of one or more young people, with at least one team member being 13 years old or older. The team works with a Partner Organization that supports or sponsors the team and works with The World We Want Foundation on matters such as distributing the funding provided. It must be a nonprofit educational, charitable, or community based organization, such as a public or private school, youth organization or club, civil society organization, or other similar organization or foundation. A Project Mentor - such as a teacher, counselor, or parent, provided by and affiliated with the Partner Organization and 21 years old or older -  guides and advises the team during the project.
